Have you ever wanted to learn how to shoot up to 1000 yards while test driving a variety of some of the best rifles ever made? Then once again you need to consider joining Cypress Creek Hunting Lodge and our good friends from Tactical Rifles for their long-range shooting clinic on September 9th through the 11th.

The class is completely free to anyone interested in learning from some of the best shooters in the business as well as getting a chance to try out Tactical Rifles’ incredible custom rifles. The only charge will be for the ammo that the student chooses to shoot. Please check out the Tactical Rifle website for more information about their incredible weapons and to find some great links to some great informational articles that have been published about their work.

Shooters attending the class will able to try out an assortment of unbelievable custom rifles made by Tactical Rifles and chambered in everything from 204 Ruger to the 338 lapua, with the lighter calibers being in the M4 tactical, and the heavier calibers in the M40 sniper versions. And on these two styles of rifles will be different combinations of every accessory you can think of including muzzle breaks and

suppressors that make shooting their incredible concoctions much easier on the ears and shoulder. In addition, all of the custom rifles will be topped by first-class optics from both Nightforce and Leupold with both adjustable turrets and/or range-compensating reticles. So please consider joining Cypress Creek Hunting Lodge and Tactical Rifles for this rare opportunity to not only learn how to take your shooting out to 1000 yards accurately, but to lay your hands on and shoot some of the finest weapons and accessories made. So please call 1-877-811-GUNS or email David Rooney directly at admin@tacticalrifles.net to reserve a spot in the class.

The only other arrangement that a student must make if attending the long-range shooting class is where to stay while here in the lowcountry. And the options are to either stay our local motels in Estill, Ridgeland or Hampton, or just pay $100 a night per person to stay in our lodge with all meals provided. And for an additional cost, students may want to consider choosing to hit our woods for either a deer and/or hog hunt while here in the lowcountry to test out their marksmanship skills under real-world conditions. Please call Becky at 1-877-520-2245 if you would like to hunt while you are here with us at the clinic or stay with us.

stubeAlso, since we are talking about our friends from Tactical Rifles in this post, I wanted to take a minute to let everyone know about one of our mutual friend’s newest endeavors: retired Green Beret Greg Stube and his new show Coming Home with Greg Stube. It features Greg visiting some of this country’s best places to hunt and fish while he focuses on what makes “coming home” to America such a great thing by exploring it’s history and celebrating it’s freedoms. It airs on the Sportsmen Channel Wed at 7am, Thurs at 1pm and Sunday at 11am Eastern Times. You don’t want to miss it!

And while we haven’t had any hunters in a few weeks, I did want to make sure and show off a couple of kills from a few weeks ago. Tom, from Hilton Head, not only shot a fat pig, but he dropped us a nice note about his great tasting pork. Barry F. aslo rolled up two nice hogs when he visited in early June. So congratulations to those hunters, and thanks for joining us for one of our summer hog hunts! We now have some hunters coming in Thursday and hunting through the weekend, and we are anxious to get them into the woods after a couple of week break in hunting pressure. This combined with all of the new plots full of peas that they just love along with the corn should make for some great hunting. We look forward to sharing their adventures with everyone next week…
