SC Hunting Keeps Getting Better
The pre-rut at Cypress Creek Hunting Lodge could not be any better even with Hurricane Sandy trying to blow us out of the woods. This past week has produced plenty of success even with some rough weather and tough conditions.
We wanted to go back a little and catch up on some other great SC deer hunts, SC hog hunts and SC alligator hunts that we need to include.
This is Kala up from FL who harvested this nice 6pt buck while hunting at Cypress Creek Hunting Lodge with her dad and granddad. What a nice way to experience some quality family time in the great outdoors.
Wayne from SC was here again and harvested two fine velvet bucks in August and he missed a bigger buck on his last evening of hunting for SC velvet bucks. Good success and great hunting for Wayne.

We also wanted to add a couple of our SC Alligator hunting pictures to the blog. Alex and Justin doing some alligator wrestling.
Back in August we also had our good friends from VA back again. Dave and his 2 sons for their 1st SC velvet deer hunt and they ended up with this great buck! What a great time this fine family had together in the SC low country again. We look forward to their return!
Jamie with his son Aden came down from NC for Jamie to take his 1st buck ever and what a great velvet 8pt buck!

This huge boar was taken by Matt from OH. This was his 1st trip to enjoy some fine SC hog hunting at Cypress Creek Hunting Lodge. He will have plenty of pork to head back north.

Scott from NC was down to enjoy some SC deer hunting
for a 1 day hunt and took home some meat for the
freezer with these tasty does.
Allan from NC joined Scott on his 1 day deer hunt and also took a nice doe.
Darryl from GA took an 8pt management buck after
passing on a number of other deer.
Darryl has hunted the SC low county
before and knows the potential here.
Our ole friend Matt was down again for his tenth year to do some SC deer hunting and had a number of opportunities. With a few misses out of the way, he managed to settle in on a nice doe to take home. Matt has taken some really nice bucks on his past hunts with us here at Cypress Creek Hunting Lodge. We always enjoy our time with Matt.
Wayne from SC returned for his 2nd SC deer hunting trip this season and brought along his wife, Angela. Once again they had a very successful low country deer hunt with us in harvesting these fine deer. 
Angela managed to take her 1st deer ever with a great shot on a doe and then made a great neck shot on a fine 6pt buck.
Way to go girl! They both shot nice bucks and does on this trip to Cypress Creek Hunting Lodge and they had a great time hunting together. 
We also enjoyed having Doug and his son Jerome down from TN. Jerome was unable to hunt this trip due to shoulder surgery. Doug finally managed to get a shot at a really nice buck on his last evening. We were unable to find any evidence of the deer but sometimes it happens. Two great people that we look forward to seeing again soon to do some SC hog hunting.
We had our friends Jimbo and Bobby from the Orlando, FL area in again for a 1 day hunt. Jimbo tried a long shot on a really big buck, but ended up being a miss and Bobby also had a shot and miss on his SC deer hunting trip. Sometimes that’s real hunting. It was still a good time in the deer woods again and we look forward to seeing Jimbo and his son in November for another SC deer hunt.
After a low leg shot on a big 8pt, Jim from SC harvested a nice management 8pt buck. The lows and highs of deer hunting can change very fast. We were glad to have Jim back to hunt with us again along with his friend Thomas and our long time friends Jack and Barry.
Our last group of hunters were down from PA to do some SC deer hunting and SC hog hunting. They scored big on both deer and hogs. Joe took the lead first with a nice SC boar hog and then took a big 8pt buck and another 5pt buck. Great hunting Joe! Logan followed with a good tasty doe and Larry completed the hunt with a real good 8pt buck. What a wonderful way to end another great hunt to the SC low county. Way to go guys!
