Christmas in the Low Country

Christmas in the Low Country came early this year for 15 year old Elliott along with his dad Mark from Mt. Pleasant, SC.  Elliott harvested his first buck ever with a nice 4pt.  Not only did Elliott make a great shot but he enjoyed a real quality hunting experience with his dad.

First time hunter Erin from Charleston, SC along with her boyfriend Joe met at Cypress Creek Hunting Lodge with Erin’s parents from Ohio for some outdoor fun.  On Erin’s first hunt ever she managed to harvest a nice 4pt buck and a huge doe.  She definitely experienced the adrenaline rush that all of us hunters talk about.  It was her first time ever hunting and she performed like a seasoned pro.  Not only did she make great shots, but she skinned and processed her own deer!  Way to go girl!

Once again we had our great friends from Florida to return for their annual December deer hunt.  Dr. James and his two sons, Tripp and David really know how to “pursue the experience” in the outdoors.  This trip it was David that took top honors with a huge non-typical 8pt buck.  Tripp took a fine doe home for the holidays as well.  These guys are planning on returning in the spring for some great South Carolina Turkey Hunting and we will be ready!  See you soon guys!

Although the South Carolina deer season is coming to a close, there are a number of real quality bucks still out there.  The hog hunting is about to fire up and our turkey season won’t be far behind.  Book now to be sure you get the dates that you want.
